cloyes double roller and cps ?'s
I installed a double roller aswell as an lt4 hotcam kit when i blew a head gasket. Now the car starts and i get crankshaft position codes p0335 and p0336. I know i didn't install the piece that goes infront of the crankshaft sprocket it's the piece that tells the sensor the crankshaft position. my question is will that piece fit under the timing cover. I had a tune and all but car won't idle. I'm trying to figure out the bugs. anyhelp?
Re: cloyes double roller and cps ?'s
that makes me mad
cause now i have to send my computer back to madz28 $12 and have him send it back $12, i put it on the sheet that i had a true roller. so it won't fit underneath the timing chain? My car is idling rough and sometimes going to 500 rpm and cutting off at stop signs after the cam install. i'm just trying to figure out the bugs.

Re: cloyes double roller and cps ?'s
I solved my idling issues i took the throttle body apart cleaned it with some throttle body cleaner especially around the iac and tps. I cleaned the maf with some electrical parts cleaner and some q-tips, reset the iac and now the car is so smooth. I still have the ses light because of the codes. I wanted to know if anyone ever put the piece that the cps senses back in with a double roller?
Re: cloyes double roller and cps ?'s
Hate to bring up old posts but this is my EXACT symptoms, how hard is it to clean the throttle body and such, mine drops to the low rpms and everything, was thinking of seafoaming the car, any suggestions and how to's on cleaning?
