a cheap CAI?

I was searching ebay for a CAI and ran accross this, anyone seen this before.
Item 370106875273
I'd post a link but something is wrong with my laptop, the link is 20 lines long (no kidding)

its a crome cold air induction kit, looks a bit rice, but at $50 it sounds too good to be true. I know it doesn't take much to make one, but will it make any difference?

If its on ebay and its $50, I think that explanes how junk it is. This has been discussed 10 times atleast. Most people will say you do not want it, and not to get it.

don't waste your money. aluminum like that will heat soak very quickly and then you will be drawing hot air into your motor. Look around the classifieds here and on other sites. I got a K&N CAI tube for $35, then went to any auto parts store and bought a 4" filter. done for $75

Moroso-Lingenfelter= same design. K&N-trickflow= same damn thing

I have an ebay CAI and it does the job well. Dont buy the one that replaces the stock elbow at the throttle body, just get the one thats from the MAF forward.

I have a 93 Z auto/2.73 that I bought bone stock. Would just barely spin if I tried. With just the ebay cai and nothing else it would roast the tires from a stop.

Yeah, there will be heat soak, but if yiou think how fast the air is being moved through there, I doubt you would feel any gains from a unit that cost $100+ more. And Im not saying there wouldnt be any gains from a molded plastic peice, but for the performance gains, its a good bang for the buck. If heat soak where such an issue, then why do so many use the ALUMINUM intake elbo with a plastic cai?
