Changing injectors

I have an LE2 H/C kit going in soon and I'm trying to get all the supporting mods in before then. Basically what I need to know is if it's safe to run the bigger injectors on the stock heads/cam until the LE kit goes in. I'm looking at 36 or 42 lbs.
Thanks

The tune-up needs to be changed when the injectors are changed. The car will be dead rich unless you make the changes together.

what you need is a REALISTIC view of your horsepower and buy injectors for that power range. i doubt you'll have around 600, so 42's are out.

i'd stick with 36 if anything...and you'll need a program as mentioned.

Your right, I mixed up the numbers on the LE2 and LE3 kits. 36lbs. is the max recommended. So basically I should just wait until even after the kit is in when I get a chance to get it to the dyno?

Thirty-six pound injectors work just fine with my combination that includes ported heads, 350 +.060" overbore, solid roller, and a stock throttle body. The car has run 9.70s @ 136 mph with those injectors and is capable of more. Thirty-sixes are plenty.
