Are you using an ELM327 type cable? If not, what are you using to connect the pc to the car OBD2 connector?

Hey there thanks for chiming in.

So far I've just tried Bluetooth. Using a dongle I got off of Amazon that works flawlessly with torque app.

I'm sure a cable would work better, but there was one instance it connected and didn't crash, but haven't had such luck since.

It's just weird how it says connected but then freezes.

I'm not sure what advantages your program might have, but specifically ive been looking for a way to monitor iac counts but it seems as though nothing really does.

My program is for PC. Do you have a BT adapter on the pc?

To get the enhanced GM parameters (IAC, etc...) on Torque, you have to install the free add-on Torquescan and select GM parameters.
My program also has the IAC counts on the GM Enh tab screen. Notice that the PID (1172) is the same for my program and Torquescan.

Yeah I'm using it on pc via Bluetooth

As far as IAC, I have the GM pids and I see it, but it doesn't display any data. Must be an obd2 thing?

What does that mean "an obd2 thing"? Can you see it working on my phone in the photo above?

I see it working, I've just heard people not getting data on obd2 cars for that sensor and I'm one of them.

I suppose my iac valve could be bad, I'll have to do some more testing of it and report back.

That could explain my ever so slight idle surge..

No, you are correct, that PID of 1172 is only for 98 and later. Use 1179 instead. Here is a file of tested PID's for the 96 LT1:

Good deal! I'll check it out when I get home.

All those pids listed, I assume I have to put 221 in front of them when I enter custom pids in the torque app?

Just "22" in front, so PID 1179 becomes "221179"

That's what I mean ha.

Thanks man! I never ran across that on any search I've done so far.

For what it's worth, whenever you are using the GM Enhanced/extended mode (22), you always use a 4 digit number after the 22. So a PID of 4 becomes "220004"

As for not finding this information anywhere, there is a good reason. GM charges $50K for the privilege of using this proprietary data. So you won't see a lot of sites publishing that because it could get them in trouble.

Re: Cc503 issues, rpms sticking, high o2 volts, expertise needed

This all seems to just happen at idle, when I get on the gas most of the problems listed below go away.

What would cause bank 2 to add so much fuel(sometimes up to 15% as displayed on torque pro) with bank 1 reading 0 or even cutting a little bit of fuel? It is my bank 1 o2 sensor that seems to get stuck at .9 volts sometimes.. I find that weird that is opposite..

So far ive tried:
Swapping o2 sensors, same results
Swapping o2 sensor extensions, same results
Measured volts at o2 wire before and after extension, no volt drops. I believe they were 1.5v, .85v,. 00v, 12.2 volts in that order of the 4 wires.

I unplugged my bank 2 o2 and it honestly ran a little better if not the same, however when I did this I got NO fuel trims on either side, not sure it that's normal.

About a month ago I put on an adjustable fpr to get the psi to 43 as my stock fpr was pushing 50psi for whatever reason. No fuel comes out the vacuum port.

Any help would be appreciated. Something is making this thing run rich at idle. The backfires and cackles are too much.

Here's a link to a data log I took today at idle. There are points I gave it a few revs, and i turned on the AC on and of as you can see the IAC goes up. If anyone can analyze this better than me i'd really appreciate it.
