catback question.

I am interested in borla adjustable exhaust but was offered slp loudmouth at a decent price. Which is better? Borla cost is much higher so is it better. Let me know. I really like borla but dont want to waste my money.

the Borla is nice ,but very pricey..The slp is very loud!..If you are looking at stainless (smart by the way!) I would check out Banks' cat back system or similar. It is about Half the price of a Borla and has a great sound to it!..Plus it is all stainless with a lifetime warranty..I was going to install a Borla,But saw that Banks came out with a system and though i would give it a try..Awesome system & could not be happier..whatever you choose though, they are all pretty good!

I would go with anything other than a Loudcrap exhaust. I would recommend going with an ATR ctabck (stainless).

you can get the Banks system from www.speeddemonmotorsports.com and motorsport technologies also carries them as well...also www.exhaustproslinc.com and I think you can also get the banks system from Thunder racing

Check the FS section for Borla cat back. there are a lot fo people that decide to sell it due to car peoblmes and parting out, or some people just chage to bigger mods and want a diferent set up such as true duals.

I got mine for $400 (in the mail). They could be found in the $300 to $400 range.

I personaly would not spend more than $400 for a cat back.

I have the Hooker cat back exhaust with the Hooker shorty headers and I am very pleased with the sound. I think the 3" cat back exhaust while not stainless steel was only 260.00 or 270.00.

Why not get Hooker superflow mufflers and a cutouts. This way you can have both a quite sound and uncap it to go loud when you want to? It helps to quiet things down when you need to diagnose car problems.
