car always runs under 160*........is that bad?
3 or 4 months ago i installed a bunch of stuff..........longtubes, lt4km, 160 thermostat, pcmforless tune, egr/air removal etc etc.
anyway........before that my car always ran about 190-200* during daily driving, and 180ish while cruising.
but since the install, my temp never goes above 160, even in the hottest days this summer, with the AC on, sitting and idling for 20 mins.
under the hood sure feels nice and warm.........
is it possible somehow the temp sensor went bad?
the temp needle isnt dead........it does raise up a little when you start the car.......but never goes above 160.
my coolant is always full, and the car seems to run fine (although it seems slower than it should be).
btw....today while driving (its relatively cool out today)........i suddenly started feeling a lot of hot air comiing from my under dash vents..........this never happened before, but the engine doesnt seem to be any hotter than normal.
