Can't get the car to run afther otpi install.

Heres the basic recap from last Post http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=474618

It was timed like the book said camshaft at 6 oclock and crank at 12.
Opti, coil and basic few things plugged. VERY strong spark from coil, but very faint spark from wires to plugs.

The only thing it does is backfire a few times. I guess its not timed right, but wouldnt teh spark from teh wires be strong even if its out of time?

Also my grandpa made a new ping from a drill bit, its same lenth just a tiny bit fatter, its in there and must be in right whole if there is spark at all? It should be little bit shorter then .375 from cam gear to end of pin.

Help pls

Mostly likely you don't have the opti on right; double check that the drive pin is in the right slot.

From Shoebox's site: http://shbox.com/1/opti_back.jpg
