Can I replace my ICM harness plug?

The white wire on my ICM harness was cut very close to the plug. I'd rather not crimp/solder or some other sort of half *** repair on such a crucial signal wire. Any way I can buy just the plug and some new terminals at the dealership? I don't know whether or not GM sells just that piece. Or can I remove the terminal and pull it out the back of the plug, fix it, then put it back in? It seems like GM connections are made so that the terminals can only be inserted, but not removed from the plugs.

You can buy replacement pigtails. Here is a cheaper solution than GM.

Thanks Rob.

So what is the suggested way to insert the pigtal? Solder and shrinkwrap? Will that cut it for long term reliability?
