can a bad pilot bearing make clutch chatter?

sorry to post here guys but it seems people get better, faster replies here. Just like the topic ask. Can a bad pilot bearing make clutch chatter? I have a really bad chatter and remembered a small nick on the bearing when I installed the tranny

*************YES IT CAN******************

replace the pilot bearing now before your clutch stops engaging/disengaging!

$10-15 part to save $1000+ worth of tranny work (i know, i learned that the hard way)

peace

I've been driving around for about 100 easy miles. Am I ok if it were a bad pilot?

You should be O.K. Use the BUSHING rather than the bearing. I had a bearing grenade on me once. The bushing has no moving parts.
