cams and headers

hey everyone i want your opinions on what knid fo cams i should put on my 96 Z28 and also i am going to be putting on new headers so what kind for those.

What he said^^ Just make sure to get coated headers also. You might also look into Jet-Hot LTs or Pacesetter.

Garbage in, garbage out... Give us something to work with here - what are your goals for the car? Drag racing? Road course? Daily driver? Emissions? Street/strip?

well i only have about $2250 to work with and i wanna make the car faster pretty much street races/ drag so iw as looking into gettin new cams what do you think i shoud do

one thing is.....stop saying you want to get new cams like its a OHC motor, which it isnt
a new cam is something to definately look into, which one you want should be based off of what you want out of the car and what you can tolerate

2, use the search button at the top of the page, you WILL find damn near endless info on a ****load of cams that are available for the LT1

well guys im sorry to say i wont be modding anytime soon, some idiot ran a stop sign in a residential neighborhood goint like 50 and cluppied my back end and i spun out so i dont know wats happening with the car hopefully its not totaled

ya dude i'm pissed but i know the guy and he doesn't have a lotta money so i'd feel really bad but as long as the car gets fixed or i get a new one it will be fine hopefully it just gets fixed cuz i love that car

ok well i jut got word that the car is totaled, and i have to go pick all teh persona crap up, so i am also gonna go and take out the exhaust intake, and chip
now the question is if i buy liek a 98+ camaro with e ls1 engine will the exhaust and intake work on that?
and thanks guys im glad im alright too otehrwise id probally kill the guy

catback can be made to work with minimal modifying
but the intake and chip will not, they are LT1 specific

Your exhaust can be made to fit by most exhaust shops on an LS1. I doubt the intake will work on an LS1 though.
