Cam upgrade?

I have something like a hotcam or xe224/230 in my car right now, the car made a little over 340rwhp and 330rwtq before new exhaust and tune that got me .2 of a second in the 1/4. It has all forged internals and all bolt ons would it be worth going to a GM847 or a cc306 or another cam if there is something better. Or would i be better off going LE3, i know i will obviously make more power with Lloyd but i also want to put in a 12-bolt and am going to need a new clutch. I don't think i can do the LE3 and 12-bolt at the same time. What gains could i expect over what i have now?

Thanks
Scott

Re: Cam upgrade?

Just upgrading the cam and not the heads wouldnt do much good for the work involed...your on stock heads right. I would go with a heads cam kit or the 12.

Well i see that your on ported heads...doh i forgot to look. You may notice a good gain if you got the 306 or better yet a custom cam...do you have the flow numbers?

Re: Cam upgrade?

Since your heads are done (per your sig), I'd look into a custom grind to make the most of your combo.
