Cam & Lifters
Cam & Lifters
What would be a good Cam & Lifters to put in my 97 Z28 that i will use for the weekend the most. Will drive a little during the week. I turn 63 in May so in a few years my Grandson will get it. The engine will be stock all but the Cam & Lifters and going to put Headers back on it. Thanks
Re: Cam & Lifters
Most agree a custom grind cam is better and the cost is minimally more. Contact Lloyd Elliott at Elliott Portworks or go to his site and look at available options
Whatever cam you get you will need the PCM tuned for it. If you stay on the mild side your stock injectors should be fine

Re: Cam & Lifters
Off the shelf cams are OK. For the Ops needs a Com 502 since his heads will remain stock

any cam will need new valve springs

these are better springs
