Differences in power gained from one brand to another will be very hard to notice. Figure out how much you want to spend and go from there. The SLP one is a little pricey, but hard to beat as far as looks. At the other end of the spectrum, a homemade one using a tube from Home Depot and a cone filter will not look too good but will still provide the 'cold air' and is obviously much cheaper.

The only brand specific advice I can give you - from experience - is don't get the G2. Total rip.

replied in the general forum too...

and it basically says what was stated above.

something to consider is some companies make the tubes out of metal (slp i think) while others are plastic...

plastic is less of a heat soak and doesn't show scratches as easy...although a nice polished cai would be cool too

You may also look into Arizona speed and marine cold air intakes, looks awsome but not the cheapest. Look on ebay, youll probably find a few on there for a far lesser price.

I went with the K&N FIPK, simply because it's just as good as any other brand out there, and it was readily available at my local auto parts store

I went with SLP for the looks and that it was metal so I could paint it.
