hey all!
The time is almost here, i am going to finally rebuild the z after some 183,000 miles. here is what i'm lookin to do, this summer i want to build up the shortblock and put in a cam and then next summer i am going to get some ported heads. After the shortblock is rebuilt i will prolly get a nx nitrous system with the 150 hp jets. So with all of that said what would be the pest pistons and rods to run that wouldn't kill my wallet being i'm 19 and go to school. So far i have found some je srp pistons and eagle h beam rods for around 800, how would these hold up?

Depends on the specific piston. SRP makes a whole range. Maybe you want to ask this question in the N2O Forum?

yea, i'm talking about the ones cmotorsports sells. Just generally though how does this setup sound.

Well, "generally" is the problem. As I said, I don't know which pistons. Do you have a part number?

Call Probe Industries,they can fix you up with a NO piston for your app.If I am not mistaken they are lighter than SRP's NO piston and VERY good quality.
