Buget Heads and Cam?

I have about 120,000 on my car and im Trapping 105 mph.

What would the best heads and cam set up be?

I want it to last me this whole summer. But not be to sissy for a 355 or mild 383 build up in the winter.

With heads and Cam and hooker Lt's you think I can trap 115?

Please post Specific parts not a set of Afr's and a nice Comp Cam

Im on kind of a budget so whats the best bang for my buck. I dont wanna spend over 3 grand on heads and a cam. When I say Heads and Cam im talking ready to bolt on my car with everything it needs. Like Valve Springs, RR's and so on.

Thanks alot

I don't have exact part numbers or anything, but I know a really good place that might be able to help you out. Search up for combination motorsports. They have a lot of products you might be interested in for your upcoming H/C swap.

Well you won't get 115mph trap speeds on a buget unless you use nitrous. Now if you could port your own heads or have someone you know port them and then get the hot cam kit you may be able to get 110mph trap speeds.

with the cmotorsports cam kit for around $530 and some Lloyd or Phil ported heads to match a decent sized cam (230/236 or so) it would be possible to trap 115 and still come out under $3000...

Look for SkarodoM or nighttrain66 on this board (Phil and Lloyd)

Lets see how I'm doing:
$655.00- Ported heads by Lloyd Elliot expected to flow 280 or so at .600 lift. That price includes machining for larger valves, new seals, and machining for locators.
$160.00- Manley 2.00 1.56 valves
$200- New CC306 bought from a board member here.
$80- Used for 1K miles crane 10308 spring kit.
$80.00- Cloyes double roller timing chain
$150.00- Vented opti bought off board member here.
$??? timing chain cover (haven't bought this yet)
$200.00- Used Comp pro mag 1.6 NSA roller rockers
$200.00- Used AFR hydrarev kit
$120.00- CSI electric H2O pump
$150.00- Gaskets
$150.00- OEM GM lifters
$35.00- New GM hardened pushrods

I'm probably missing something, but some of these aren't necessary (rev kit, vented opti, etc...). Total so far: $2,180.00
This combo should be good for about 400 RWHP in an M6.
