Today i slammed the brakes once to test something on the snow. I was only going 20 mph and when i hit the brakes, my lights interior and exterior dimmed almost to nothing for a split second. I also got an ses. I cleared the ses and tried it again. It dims my lights when i slam the brakes but i havent had the ses come back. Is this normal since it is powerbraking and its just leeching all the power? or is somehting wrong?

 

You have a problem somewhere, sounds like a bad ground, or bad wiring to the brake light(s)

 

Mine never dims like THAT, but on my 93 TA... i did notice the dash lights will BARELY dim... hardly noticeable... but they are apparently related in some way.
