To bleed? not that much. a pint or so?
I've completely flushed my system a number of times. Usually 1liter will do it all.
I use ATE Super Blue, its blue in color. The color change makes it real easy to tell when you have flushed with all new fluid. After I have blue in the system the next time I use ATE Typ 200, same stuff just amber colored.
