Question Biggest emmision's cam

A friend wants to put a CC306 or bigger in his 93 Z but he must pass local emmision test. I think it is too big to pass. Is it? What is the biggest cam anyone has passed the sniffer test with? Can he get a chip that would make a bigger cam pass??

Enough cash, any cam will pass. Other than that, your stuck with CC305 sized cams.

I don't know where you have to pass, but in CA I doubt a 306 will
pass.

if you have a 383 you can get away with more .

If you want something bigger like a 306 you can always get a special tune just to pass inspections.

It'd be easier to get a custom ground cam to match your emissions requirements and power goals. Too many compromises with an off the shelfer...
