alright so here's my dilemma i just got my 17x8 series 077's the other day along with my eibach pro's now i have to decide what size of tires are the best...my friend who owned my 96 Z before me told me i should get 275!! i really don't want to go that big but he said i shouldn't go less than the 255 stock i have now.

now for the other side i have a friend that works at sears and might be able to get me the hook-up on some yokohama's and i believe they are 235/40 or 230/40 and to me that seems a little too narrow

i don't really go to the track i plan to this summer but nothing serious just going with my friends...i'd just like a reliable tire that looks good on my new set-up but i don't know who to listen to my friend the previous owner or my friend that sells tires??? i'm happy with the way the 255 looks and really don't want a wimpy lookin tire on the car....this is my first venture into all these different tire sizes any help i can get is appreciated thanks
