Best Spark Plugs
I'm puttin a cam and headers on my car soon. With 77,000 miles on the clock and stock plugs and wires...I think its time for a change. With the bolt ons I have and with the incoming CC306 cam, what spark plugs would be the best decision for me? (i'm most likely going with the MSD 8.5mm wires)

Me (or my car) don't have any complaints about my Splitfire SF10D plugs. Everyone likes to say Splitfire plugs aren't worth it?! The rest of my mods and times are in my sig.
I will admit that I plan on swapping to a regular plug when I start spraying it. I don't think nitrous will like the "V" electrode, but my N/A combo loves them. Frank |
I run the NGK TR55's and they seem to work well. I have the Taylor Spiral Pro wires. They weren't too expensive. I got them at www.ls1speed.com

I use the NGK plugs also and the MSD 8.5mm wires. They work well for me.

I guess I'm the only one who still uses the ACs from the dealer...gapped at .050 with an MSD 6A, Coil, and Accel 9000s on my N/A 383...been running this way for 9 years with no problems...Now, maybe I'm crazy, but I change plugs and wires every 10,000 miles...usually every two years...I may change this set up next year with the Taylor over the valve cover combo from Thunderracing, though...

The best plugs I have used are the AC R42LTS. The best ignition is MSD by far. :D

I have had MSDs 8.5mm with NGK TR55 and Taylors with AC Delco. Both are excellent setups.
