Re: Best headers

My mac's slipped right in, and gave a noticable SOTP gain, but if i did it over again i would defeintly go for a set of coated long tubes!

Re: Best headers

I like my slps they went in easy as cake gave a nice topend gain. Ive been told with dualcat headers u notice an incredible gain when u put an offroad ypipe on along with the dualcat headers.... Dont know if this is true yet. I havent put my o/r pipe on

Re: Best headers

Pacesetter long tubes fit great, go in easy, and made a noticeable difference from the Macs. And you can't beat the price. Even the Y-pipe fit nice.

Re: Best headers

Ive used paceSetter and hooker Long tubes on my car. Hands down the Pace setters are nicer in every area.

Honestly FLP makes a good quality header, but plug clearence is HORRIBLE on them. I wouldnt buy them just because of that.

JetHots I have only heard good things about, but no experience with them.

Re: Best headers

i dont recommend jethots, after doing an install on them that took 15+ hours this past weekend, i hate them, i mean truly, hate them. no matter what anyone says, they are not like hookers, the slip fit piping running from the collector is longer than a hooker, preventing it to be put in from the bottom, and the runners are aligned slightly differently..i mean every damn thing we did would not get that driver side header in, took valve cover off, took rockers out, i left, and was told they dropped the k member to put it on, then found out they were sent the wrong Y pipe.
