best engine bearings, piston rings for good rebuild (brand & type)

well basically i wanted to redo a bottom end i have here and with so many brands and different type of material bearings with different coatings i just wanted to know what brand to go with as well as what material or series bearing seems like clevite has 3-4 different types of bearings.

for crank, cam, rods and piston rings on stock pistons what would you guys recommend.

motor will be on boost i dont know if that will matter as to what type of material and thickness of rings can be used on a stock piston. i just want to do a refresh all stock parts are good.

i was going to use this bearing kit

and these piston rings

would there be a better sealing piston ring FOR BOOST?on a stock piston?
should i gotot a gapless rin or file fit?

You can not get a better bearing than the Clevite set. I also went with Hastings rings which is a great ring and all I've ever used. I've had great success with their rings. The kit that they sell, if you don't plan on boring, is not file to fit so they can go right in.

If you bore the engine you'll have to file your rings to get the proper gap.

Clevite is fine for boost and the bearing kit you have shown is a good price and will work fine. However, I was able to get a better deal from my machine shop on a bearing kit. - Cam, main and rod bearings. They also got my piston rings for a killer deal as well, cheaper than anything online.

If you plan on boosting, the Hastings rings will work fine but you should not run stock pistons. You will need a forged setup to safely boost your engine. The clevite and hastings rings will be fine with any setup, there is no difference in the piston rings for a boosted and non boosted motor THAT I KNOW OF.

And as far as I know, Clevite has 2 series of rings. The "h" numbered bearings are their race bearing. You should be fine with a regular clevite bearing.

edit: the piston ring you have posted above is the ring that is stock for the LT1 and doesn't need to be filed. It's the same kit I just put in my car last week.
