QTEC is what i have. Only problem is it closing completely, you kinda have to listen to it to tell if its closed right, it may rattle, but all you have to do is tap the switch a little and it'll close up tight.

Friend recommended to JB-Weld the plate to keep it from rattleing, and never has rattled for me.

There is a GP going on right now for the DMH units. It ends friday, so order soon!!
They have a 4 year warranty on them, and they have a very quick open/close time.

As far as I can tell, QTEC is the only ADJUSTABLE one correct? All of the others are just full open/full closed?

Re: Best electric cutouts?

Not to steal the thread, but just curious, will the DMH work perfectly fine with a stock exhaust? And as stated by the guy above, is it adjustable or only full open/closed?

Re: Best electric cutouts?

I just got the DMH from the GP and it works great!
You can stop it in between opening and closing if you wanted to.
Doesn't leak so far.

Re: Best electric cutouts?

I have the mccord electric cutout on my z, no problems at all, and at $119 shipped, you cant beat it. They also give you the option of customizing them for your specific application when you are going to check out, you can also just leave it generic for faster ship date. Well worth the customization though. Good luck.
