bad battery/alt affect perf?

will a bad battery and alternator affect performance at all, like cause a loss in HP?

Low voltage can cause low fuel pressure and less spark output. Both can affect performance.

Yeah, my battery was almost dead, and wouldnt charge and the car wouldnt rev over 3K. Got a new battery and it was fine.
