Thumbs up Back from the Dead..So to speak

Well I was a member over @ ls1.com some years ago. I had a Black 00 SS ( RealMoonDoGG ). For those of you that were at the 2000 Valley Forge meet in PA I was the one that did the wicked burnout . Any how after her death, I took a few years off. I have just got my grubby hands on a 94 Z28 M6. My friend over on LS1 is giving me his old Exhaust ( A loud mouth). I liked the sound of it on my old SS, Plus hell it's free. Where should I begin with the Moding? The 1st thing I am doing is putting on the Loud Mouth. What should be next?
Headers?
Gears? 3.73 or 4:10?
Chip?
TB?

First thing is a good CAI. Then headers and your off to the races. As far as a good warehouse. I would think they would be the same as your LS1's. Jegs...Thunder Racing....AS&M and stuff.

welcome..i too own the beast they call a 94 Z28...
first things tb bypass..descreen MAF..160 thermo..fan switches..slp or moroso cai..relocate iat sensor...run synthetics..waterwetter...midlength headers (MAC AS&M)
get that baby up to 300horses....whats wrong with the 323's you got on now?

with a t-56, deffinatly go 4.10's ...i got em and i love em...take the cat back, buy some long tube headers, and get some bigger tires on there...the 245's just dont hook at the track...i dont know if you want to spend the money on it, but i love my b&m shifter compared to the stock. as far as chip, after 93 they must all be reprogrammed, go with pcm for less tuning, i think its www.pcmforless.com ...and the stock TB is fine untill u get some real power, ie. cam and heads at least

What I remeber my SS crused about 80ish ( 6th) the RPMs were about 1800. What would my RPMs be @ 80 with 3:73 or 4:10? I tracel alot form VA to NJ ( Ever Week End). But I am a big guy 6'1" and abotu 315lbs. I need all the extra Grunt I can get.

i travel about 90 miles every weekend going to and from school, after the long tubes, my gas milage remained the same with the 4.10's, about 24mpg at ~80mph ...i havnt gotten it reprogramed yet so i dont know exactly speed, but i usually cruise at 2500rpm in 6th now that i have the gears, where i used to be at 2000rpm

4:10s it is!!!! I order a SS stlye hood and the ram air box for it tonight... I am about to order me a 4:10 gear set and cover . I am going to get the whole rebulit kit too.

hey, sounds like my car, i love my hood too!...i bought strange gears for mine, with the 7.5 inch 10 bolt, you want the strongest sh*t you can get...i got the rebuild kit/cover/gear kit from thunder...very happy with the stuff
