Hey, I just have a quick question. I have a 94 camaro. Mines an auto. Im trying to put a new center console in the car. How do i take the shift **** off so i can put the new console in. I can't figure it out.

On the front side of the shifter(side facing the dash) near the top there is a clip holding it on use either a small flat head screwdriver or needlenose pliers to take it out once that clip is out lift up on the shifter should pull right off.
