Anyway of determining which version EGR valve my car has?

My EGR valve fbit the dust and I plan on replacing it. After calling the dealership and the local autoparts store,I was informed that I would need to provide the 8 digit code stamped on the valve in order for them to provide the correct one (there are two choices apparently). The two numbers are:

17092172
17092160

Is there anyway I can tell which one I have without pulling the valve? It's something I want to replace this weekend and will need to pickup from the dealer today.
