anyone run ECSTA 711'S?(tires)

I found the ECSTA 711'S for $56. I am not looking for the best street traction possible I am just wondering how well they do for everyday street driving and how is the wear? I work with a guy that had a set of kuhmo's that didnt last long @ all I am not sure if they were the same as his. Thanks Sean

I have those on my car right now. As long as you dont do a lot of burn outs they should last a while. I would say get them...good price

My car had them when I bought it, they were brand new. Had to buy new tires for the back about 3 months later, the front tires are holding up well though. It's been about 8 months and they still look almost new.

it definetly depends on how many burnouts you do ....the less you do the longer the tires will last....but that is the same with any tire.....but whats the fun in that

I was just recommending these tires to someone in another post, maybe it was you! Anyway, I have them and like the guy above, they were on the car when I bought them. I think they are a great tire for the price. I've had them for 5 months now, and I think they were at 8/32nds. I do know that they were both even front and back, and I haven't rotated them yet. I dont do a lot of burn outs though. Can't beat the price at any rate.

I checked on tirerack.com and I didnt see that they sold that size in the 711 but they sell the 712's for a 107 I think it was.

They are a very narrow 245. Traction is terrible. There were some on my car when I bought it, even at $55 I would never consider them.

Ive got them on my car. they were on it when I got the car(end of march). they seem to be a good tire. I never hear any squeeling when I take turns at a higher than normal speed, and I seem to get pretty good traction(when I want it)

Nope. The biggest they make is a 255 That's what I had to go with, but for the money I was willing to drop a couple sizes. Cant beat the price, and the tread design is sharp.

Sean, this is the tire I went with too. I've got them sitting out in my garage right now (trying to milk everything I can out of the old ones before I swap them out!!) or I'd give you my personal opinion.

Im also in the search for tires. After reading and talking to many people, ive heard that KDW's are a very good tire. The reviews say that become noisy, but so far no owner were complaining about noise. They said the traction is awsome and the ride is very good! ANd the price is reasonable, so I guess ill know when summer come's back...

I have those very tires on my car right now, sized at 245/50-16.

My car had brand new ones on it when I got it and they lasted 27,500 miles for me. I did a few good burnouts, ran them at the track too. Got a best of 2.0x 60 foot with them.

I just bought a new whole set because I needed some cheap tires and they did well before.

I really like these tires they last a while for me well a few months anyways but I am always doing burnouts. I pulled a best 60ft time of 1.74 I say agian 1.74 they were hooking better than my et streets the night I tried them out. I will try to dig up my post and put it in here. But for the price they are great. They do good in the snow!
