anyone replace they PCV valve? need help

was putting in a new pcv, and it wont sit flush against the intake manifold.

i have the right part number, it matches the one that came out.

the original was snugly fitted into the hole, and mounted flush up to the ring around the pcv.

the new one doesnt feel snug, and if i pull lightly on the pcv line, the valve starts to slide out of the manifold.

will this cause problems? im guessing it could suck air in around the valve if its loose.

When I replaced mine, it did the same thing. After putting both PVC's up next to each other, it became apparent they weren't exactly the same, but the new one was the right one. I ended up having the parts store cut me a piece of vacuum tubing just a little bit longer than what was on the car and I had no problems with it coming out. Hope this helps.

You'll live for now. (guess you probably already went your 150 miles) . Others have had the same problem with a replacement PCV. The ACDelco one seems to be the only one that fits right.
