anyone know what different wheels weigh ?

anyone know what different wheels weigh ?

The stock 16/8 five stars weigh 26lbs or something ...?

How about Zr1's (SS).......................................?

corvette 5 spoke, Zo6, wagon wheels ?

I know the salad shooters are pretty light... they weigh like 1/2 as much as my Formula's aluminum 5-spokes

I should have checked there first ...

All of the stock wheels seem pretty close in weight. I thought the Zr1's would be a lot heavier.

They are when you put the tires on. My salad shooters with 245's weigh 45 lbs. My ZR1's with 315's weigh 58 lbs. That's on a bathroom scale, so maybe not that accurate.

It's not just the weight, but where the wieght is distributed. Even if a larger diameter wheel weighs the same on the scale as a smaller diameter wheel, it can have a larger moment of inertia due to the mass being located further out on the radius. Also, a wider wheel of the same diameter and weight relative to a narrower wheel is more likely to have a larger portion of it's mass outward on the rim of the wheel and will eat up more hp. Not exactly the answer to the question at hand, just something to keep in mind while looking at this stuff

are you on crack? salad shooters - 22lbs. 98TA 5stars - 16.5 lbs. same scale
