If you are running 2 1/4 exhaust, knock yourself out. Other than that, they are effective

My dad told me about those, He said they just get ceased up after a while then the cable really won't budge them.

I'd avoid those cable cutouts on e-bay. Not only are they 2.25", but I heard they leak pretty bad too.
