Anybody running the Combination Motorsports budget 383 kit??
I have to tear down and rebuild a motor for school and I'm thinking about doing my LT1. I think if I do it I'm gonna run Combination's budget 383, some headwork, get rid of the CC305 for a N20 cam, then up the shot to 200hp or so. ANyway I'm just trying to get some ideas, becaus if I decide to do this the motor is coming out on fri. Thanks!

Aaron-
I think you will be fine with that kit and nitrous as long as you have forged pistons and decent rods. We both know you wont spray over 150 anyways
, so you might as well try to make it a beast n/a

The guy at Combination I talked to said it would handle the 200 shot no prob. It is an all forged kit with a Scat cast crank. PLus it will only probably see the 200 at the track and maybe occasionally on the street.
