Im having a hard time desiding on what i should get right now i am stuck between FLowmaster American Thunder, SLP Loud Mouth, or Hooker's exaust. The only thang i didnt like was that the people said the Hookers exhaust was only a little bit loader then stock and i want people to be able to hear me when i drive by. And anyone have ANY sound clips of theses on an LT1 please post them mainly the SLP Load mouth..

i suppose it depends on if this is a daily driver... I am probably going to put LM on my 95 T/A but I only drive it on weekends

 

Well if you want to be noticed ...go loudmouth...i have it on a daily driver...its fine...especially with music...i have 2.73's so that highway drone some people talk about is not really there in my car.....but when you accelerate or go WOT it is really loud and good sounding . I will also give you a non biased opinon...in reality almost every cat back on the market sounds better than stock...and most are somewhat louder...so dont loose sleep over the decision! I saw the LM and knew that was what i wanted from day one...because of the flow, cheap and loudness

 

Flowmaster sounds nice adn will get you noticed. When you step on it it roars, but its quiet enough cruising to not drone. (1500rpms) I'd pick that over teh hooker if you wnat to be heard. The loudmouth will probaby just get obnoxious if its a daily driven car.

 

i would go with a stainless steel system. The loudmouth is great stock but it can get nasty with more exhaust mods. I have heard it by itself and with headers and off road pipe

 

ya i been reading that people liked their loud mouth but they got to loud when they got headers.

ALso what about magnaflow... Does anyone have any sound clips of them.. i havnt found many clips of em.

Checkout the Spintech catback. Their mufflers have a really nice sound.

 

Assmaster sounds terrible and everyone has it. Get hooker. It's quiet at idle, but it screams at WOT. Especially with an off road pipe. I've gotten nothing but compliments on my hooker exhaust. Also, I don't experience drone with hooker at all. It cackles a little bit at 3300rpm or so, and the rest of the time it just roars. I was torn between loudmouth and hooker, and I went with hooker and couldn't be happier.
