Another 12 Second Bolt-on A4 LT1 :)

http://www.zmydust.com/images/holyhell.jpg

holy hell on earth it's AWESOME to go to a killer track that hooks!!!! I don't care that I had to drive 3 hours to get there (stayed the weekend)... if you look at the pic closely I think the nitto's wrinkled up on that 1.7...

We rented Bradenton Motorsports Park, only cost us about $35 a person for 70 cars

Got 18 runs in... I smacked two 12 second passes, the rest were 13.0's, but what do I care I got my 12's

First pass of the day in very cool weather...

12.951 @ 104.03 1.724 60'

Much later in the day in warm weather (i couldn't believe it)

12.917 @ 103.81 1.704 60'

All this on Nitto drags, and the only weight reduction was my two rear hatch panels w/ the speakers, spare tire, jack..

YES, i still have my swaybar on, and stock rockers. I hit my goal, and I couldn't be happier. Next I need my hotcam to reach my next (undetermined) goal...

time for an oil / tranny fluid change

Congrats on the times. I'm hoping a torque converter and drag radials will put me into the high 12's also.

What suspension work do you have done? I think some minor suspension mods could get that 60' down in the 1.6 range and get you a 12.8 or so.

Just some BMR lower control arms & Hotchkis panhard rod. I won't be able to pull off times like those until the next time I travel to this track, which will probably be in a few months. I know pulling the swaybar is supposed to help, as well as relocation brackets for the control arms.

Hey Kmook,

Hows the blower motor run out? A buddy of mine is trying to talk me into a ProCharger setup. I would love to do turbos but I think that will be next time. I'll let someone figure a kit first.

Nice times. Bradenton is a decent track. Have you tried going to Immokalee yet? That track works pretty good. It's an 8th mile track.

Hmmm, not really.. I guess it'd be good for testing 60's for me, but I'm very much into 1/4 passes..

thanks guys
