Alternatives to centerbolt OTVC?

I have a new set of valve covers to be installed, but I no longer want to run my wires over the valve covers. However, I would like to still have some sort of system that will allow me to run my wires away from the long tubes. Is there any sort of wire loom kit that will mount to the sides of the cylinder heads and allow me to route my wires that way... or am I stuck going back to stock wires and routing?

why don't you want to go OTVC? I thought that was the best way to do it with headers? I was going to try to go that route, but I want to know why you don't want to do that anymore.
Thanks
Cody

Simple, I have engraved valve covers so I want them to be clearly visible without the wiring covering them.

Yeah I saw those, I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed them?

How would you get them behind the alternator?

I know with thunderracing offers their OTVC kit with side mounts for like an extra $3 or something. Contact them maybe they will just sell you the parts you need.

Those vertical mounts are made by Made For You and you should be able to get them separately from Jegs, Summit, etc...

The ones with the aluminum stand offs that go on the side are a PITA to install!!! The screws that hold them in are button head allen screws and it is dang near impossible to get em started. I put em on when I did my long tubes and I only have 3 out of the 4 on so far :(. They look really nice and keep the wires away from the motor, I would deff. suggest them if they were easier to put on, but then again you will be one of the few with those, making you special...

Just my experience,
Bill

I built these out of 1-1/2" angle aluminum from the hardware store and some 1/2" T-clamps from MSD. They clear my Long tubes fine and I also use all factory f-body accessories.

FWIW, this is also a factory LT1 headed 396 that makes over 600HP N/A at the flywheel...93 octane. The direct port adds another 300HP. (not 93 octane w/N20)

I use the vertical mount because I switched from the OVC when I got my new VC's. They work well but are a little more of a pain over the standard OVCs but no big deal.

If I go with the vertical mount setup, do you think I will be able to reuse my Elite OTVC wires or will I have to cut my own?
