! Air Pump ?

Im in the middle of the Opti install and while ive got the Air Pump off the car how can I just delete it and keep from having to put it back on? Are there any side effects from deleting it?

Re: ! Air Pump ?

your sig says you have an ORP so no, there should be no side effects from removing it. If you had cats it would probably shorten the life of your cats slightly. When I removed my air pump, I removed the pump itself and the hoses connected directly to is but left the selenoid on the front of the driver side valve cover and I dont even throw a code for it... go figure.

I just removed the air pump on my 94 camaro. As long as you leave the fuse in for it you won't get the SES light.
