Air Intake Help
 

I bought a 1995 Z28 with 383 and it had a make shift cold air intake on it. I ordered a new SLP Kit for it. I was missing the elbow that comes off the throttle body and attaches to the mass air flow sensor. When I recieved the parts from GM the elbow had a plastic tube coming out of the bottom amd wont fit my application? The thermostat housing is only a hir lower then the throttle body? Any suggestions?

That plastic tube should fit just in front of your water pump, it'll fit don't worry. But what you should have done is gotten a 1LE elbow, it doesn't have that tube.
Since you already have bought the gm elbow you can ditch that tube and plug the hole with something like this

I can return that part to the Chevy dealer. Where can you get the 1LE part.
