AIR and EGR stuff

Im putting my headers in and have been searching for some info on removing all this stuff. I havnt had much luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Umm...just remove the air pump. Unplug it and take it out. The egr can be removed from the back of the intake but you will need some block off plates to cover up the too holes. You will need to get tuning to keep your ses light from coming on though. Try this page www.shbox.com lots of pics and how-to guides.

You'll also need something to block the passage that will now be open, from removing the air pump, in the air intake ducting. Also there is a vaccum port on the intake manifold that the EGR hooked up to that you will need to cap.

Cool, Ive found a kit on ebay. It has three plates made of billet aluminum. The kit is 22.99. Will that be all I need?

Yes but if your headers don't have the provisions for egr then 1 plate will be useless for you. The price isn't bad though. I know others have paid about 24-25 for theirs.
