Aeromotive FPR
 

I need a Fuel Pressure Regulator and was wondering if the Aeromotive Unit was a good buy?? Anyone had any experience with these good or bad??

I read some posts with them breaking on the lt1s. I was thinking of going with fast or maybe jet one but not really sure will need one so mabye wait a bit.

Summit sells jet ones..thunder racing sells fast one. :D

There has been some controversy supprounding the Aeromotive AFPR's. There is a representative of Aeromotive who posts on these forums, and he has a standing offer to replace any Aeromotive AFPR that you are not satisfied with, no questions asked. A "search" for "markinkc69z" should turn up the threads.

Yes, if anybody has the old style all red anodized body regulator and they are dissatisfied or just want to replace it with the new style that utilizes our newest diaphragm material then drop me an email , private message, or call me @ 913-647-7300 ext 110 and I will take care of you. This is specifically for the 13105, 13106, 13107 screw together red bodied regulators. So far I believe 6 CZ28 members have contacted me for replacements. The issue is that depending on where you live the makeup of your gasoline may attack the diaphragm material resulting in premature degradation of the regulator thus resulting in uncontrollable fuel pressure and flooding of the engine through the reference hose. Most likely if you have this fuel makeup you would have had a problem by now. But if not, then get in touch. Our entire line is serviced by a 1 year warranty.
