Advanced Induction 383 - 11.1 @ 121.7
I'm tickled pink. Some of you may or may not be familiar with this thread:
https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=693540 I got the shifting issue worked out, and had AMAZING air conditions. Density altitude was 300, about 65 degrees and dry. Also, chose to head to Atco Raceway in NJ as opposed to Maple Grove. Track prep was better at MG, but Atco really provided the results I was looking for. First pass - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNffctGD1w 60' 1.61 (spun a bit) 330 4.607 1/8 7.165 @ 95.66 1000 9.379 1/4 11.24 @ 121.40 They threatened to kick me out because I didn't have a fire jacket. Next run I decided to get on the brakes so I didn't get booted. Dropping a pound out of each rear tire helped. Second pass - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH5XnveVBvo 60' 1.59 330 4.578 1/8 7.125 @ 96.14 No 1/4 ET/MPH Here's the last pass of the night. I decided to run a full 1/4 because hey, I'm going home anyway. Dropped another half pound out of each ET street and, well, the vid speaks for itself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBV9bvEZrwM 60' 1.57 (yay daylight!) 330 4.54 1/8 7.084 @ 96.48 1000 9.283 1/4 11.142 @ 121.77 The ONLY changes that I made to the car between the last trip to the track (11.51 @ 118) was that I re-gapped the spark plugs down to .035" from .045", resolved the shifting issue, and made some very minor weight reduction. Keep in mind I am still running on a mail-order tune. My wideband is showing 11.7:1 A/F @ WOT, so needless to say, there's plenty left in it. 10s definitely are in the future. Not bad for a mostly full-weight 383 LT1 with a mild cam. AI FTMFW! :-D |

Also picked up ~25rwhp with a dyno tune over a mail order - you got 10's in the bag man ;). |

that thing is moving pretty well.
