You might be starting a giant debate by asking this, but I'll throw in my opinion. I haven't seen any dyno or track numbers from CM's heads yet, so I can't compare them to AI's which have consistently been strong performers with more than a few 400 RWHP SAE or more dynos. I don't think you would go wrong with either of them, and I can vouch for CM's customer service. I ordered a fuel pump from them and they called me a week later just as a follow up. Great service. Some people may discount AI because Phil doesn't put up with alot of BS and tells it like it is, but I like that too. His stuff works and he knows it. He can try and tell people how it is so many times, and then its just not worth it. Oh well, better heads for the rest of us.... good luck with whatever you choose!

Love combo by all means, but Phil does some top notch work at AI. Agreed with above, many dont like him b/c he states his opinions and tells it as it is. Im like that sometimes too, so it doesnt bother me either.

AI vote here

i think this is gonna start sounding repetitive

AI - awesome heads, proven numbers, phil is very knowledgable, although some people on here don't like the way he says things.

CMS - also very knowledgable guys, with a very good rep for customer service, im sure its top notch, but i havent seen anyone post any results from their heads performance.

either way, i think you walk away with an excellent product.

Since no one has ever swapped a pair of AI heads for CMS heads or vice versa and kept the same bottom end/setup, you'll never really know.

I can vouch for Phil. Alot of guys on here will too. There are also those who don't like him. Regardless, his stuff works.

Does Phil post here?

"DOES PHIL POST HERE"......yep, he's always here. His goes by SkarDom. He's helps out a lot in here and gives a lot of advice. He does one of the...."I taught you what you know but not all of what I know" deal. :D He gave me a lot of advice on porting my own heads. I would use him in an instant. Lloyd is awesome too from what I hear. He goes by NightTrain66 and helped me a lot too. If I ever get a set of heads I wanted to be awesome I will use them.
