Adjusting Idle?

Well, my hotcam is on the way and I was wondering how I can make it sound bigger than it really is. How do you adjust the idle on these cars, and what RPM should I idle at? I heard 650 would be bad ***. Anyone know how I can do this? I am planning on having Ion tune my car for me.

You gotta get the PCM tuned to adjust the idle. I realy don't know how the hotcam would respond to a 650 rpm idle though, mine idles dead-straight on 900 rpm, and I think it sounds pretty mean (relatively speaking ). Good luck.
