Access into engine bay on driver's side?

I'll be running three electrical gauges on the driver's A-pillar, and am wondering if there are any areas on that side to run the wires, instead of having to run them over behind the dash up through the PCM grommet.

Anyone know? It looks like some wires enter the engine bay through some plastic casing near the windshield, but it doesn't seem like I could fit any more in there... like the plastic has been molded around the existing wire harness.

Thanks for any help.

I just drilled a hole behind the pedals large enough to run amp wires, gauges, boost a pump, and a couple others things.

I put the wires in through the driver side fender, and then through the rubber tubing for the door. You can get several wires through there. The hardest part is getting the wires from the engine bay into the inside of the fender. I wound up gound underneath the hood hinges. At the back of the hood hinges, there is a triangular shaped cutout that goes into the fender area. You feed the wires from there into the inside of the fender. Then, open the door and grab them from the inside of the fender. Feed them through the rubber tubing for the door, and then up the side of the dash. You can't see them at all when done.

My firewall looks like swiss cheese...3 gauge's wires, shift light, stereo wiring, restricted nitrous line. You can extend your wires and go through the passengers side.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I've run two of the gauges through the PCM grommet so far because it seemed the easiest.

But I might see if there is somewhere I could bring the oil temperature sender wire (which will probably go in the oil drain plug) into the cockpit... maybe up through the tranny hole in the console.

Well, another post...

I've decided to run the sender wire for the oil temp. through the tranny tunnel hole like I thought before.

Now I'm considering putting the mini-harness for the n2o sender through there too, because it won't reach going through the PCM grommet all the way to the A-pillar. And I don't want to cut and splice the harness.

Does anyone have any other ideas/input for places to go through to the engine bay w/o drilling on the driver's side?
