Hope this isn't a repost. Did a quick search and didn't see anything.

Accel cap and rotor from Summit

Couldn't find anything on the whole thing, but found the cap and rotor. Forgot how much the one from the dealer costs. Thought it would be a nice alternative to the MSD stuff.

Wonder what the inside looks like?OEM optical sensor?
It's also for 'vented' only.. MSD is making both types..
Oilite BUSHING[a bearing would be nice... a real bearing too, not like the OEM one]
I believe the MSD unit appears much better quality [I'd like to get 2 side by side and disassemble them]
Hopefully if nothing else, it will help keep the MSD [and 'DynaSpark', etc] at a competitive price...
And I am glad to see that FINALLY the aftermarket is stepping up to this opti problem...

And in the part # section, type in "ACC-59125." That's the whole thing. Too bad they don't list a price for it though.

This got my attention when posted and the "ship date" for the cap and rotor was 12-23 at that point with a price I thought of like $60-70. Look back into it today and the ship date is end of january and the price now $100.
Who do they think they are MSD?
I am going to be in the market for something soon.

makes me wonder if its the exact same thing as the msd, just different colors

The MSD opti is already out though and people have begun to recieve them. I might end up going that route though till it has been out for awhile I am not going to drool over it as being the ultimate opti upgrade, I think it has potential but is as of yet unproven.

Seems odd that these two companies would go head to head like this though seeing as they are both owned by Mr. Gasket.
