ac delete pulley gain
Re: ac delete pulley gain
man, you guys don't have to be aholes about it.
pros:
- Room to work (as TonyK said)
- about 80ish lbs (rough math 100lb = -.1 sec)
- Throttle response tiny bit better
- If condensor removed, better airflow for radiator(tranny cooler if equiped)
- cleaner looking engine bay (which we all know the LT1 needs
)

Re: ac delete pulley gain
prolly darn near 50 lbs so if you figure it out to 100lbs is a 1/10 and 10 rwhp is a 1/10th then it should be equal to 5rwhp or half of one tenth if that makes any sense
Re: ac delete pulley gain
get rid of it if it doesnt work, if ur trying to go fast drag racing and u dont care about AC then delete it and lose the weight. Or call up SJM manufacturing and get a pulley delete kit like i did. I deleted the power steering, the ac compressor and all that crappy bracketry. That combined with an electric water pump and my car now keeps up with my friends 6 speed SS ls1 :] i have tonz of other bolt ons but i couldent keep up with him till i did that one lol.
