Abs Light coming on
 

What could be causing my "ABS INOP" light to be coming on. Some might say it does once in a while, but in the past week it has turned on 3 times. Now i know i should have done a search first but I was lazy. Is there some kind of sensor that could be changed pretty easily?

I just fixed my abs inop problem i was having. Either do a search or be more specific on when your light is coming on, i.e. what conditions and such, while your breaking? driving? turning?? As I have learned, millions of things can cause it...but we need specifics. But first of all, rumor has it that your 3rd brake light going out can cause it too.

Mines been on for about 7 months now. As long as i can stop its all good, don't get much rain around here hehe.

Check your brake lights to make sure the bulbe are good. I drove around for a long time with my abs light on and all it turned out to be was a bulb. Hope thats all it is.

If the light goes away and comes back, it is a soft code and they are almost always due to wheel sensors.

my abs light has been on for 3 days...i checked the third light and BINGO!!!

My ABS INOP light has been on for a good 4 months straight...I believe I'm going to check into the third brake light.

But my light came on like 2 days after I did my first powerbrake, could that have anything to do with it or no?
