? about Combination Motorsports reputation

I've been away from the board for a while and I've noticed that Combination Motorsports has become a pretty large provider of some great parts and services. Although I haven't heard anything bad about this preticular company, I am just concerned about a company that is new to me. THIS POST IS IN NO WAY MEANT TO OFFEND A VENDOR. I am only trying to be a smart shopper.

Thanx in advance for all posts and replies!
Later, Vicious

They are a great company. I think the only gripe is they've grown too large too quickly. Asked several times for a returned call or email about a transmission problem but they never replied. I took my money elsewhere. I wouldn't hesitate spending your money there, though.

LOL, on not afraid to spend my money. Well, I'm not to proud to take donations myself. Thanx. Sounds good so far. I'm thinking of buying a cam and maybe some headers from them and that's why I asked this question. Oh yeah, does any1 have any xperience with their head porting services?

I miscommunicated myself. I called on 4 different occasions. 1st to diagnose the problem (left a number), 2nd called back to see if he'd found anything out, 3rd called to check and left another number, 4th called to check and left an email address.

Combination Motor Sports is great to deal with. I resontly had a head problem with my AFR's. I finally found the problem and fixed it but during this problem I called and talked to Seth. I explained the problem and showed interest in the stage II LT1 heads. Seth was very helpful and talked me out of the stage II heads and into fixing the AFR's. He said the AFR's have alot more potental than the LT1 head. He talked himself out of a sale. To me that is good customer relations and will keep me going back in the future. Thanks Seth and Combination Motor Sports. Keep up the Good work.

I was looking to order cam, rockers etc. and was looking at combination motorsports but I went to the thunder racing web site and found they are having a sale untill feb. 14 04 on cams, rockers etc. I saved myself well over $100.00 on their sale items so anyobne interested in making purchase before the 14th should look at them as well.

From your smiley face I hope you mean that they really are nice as this was my first order from them so I have no experience personally other than what I've read here.

Definitely not joking. Nicest customer service I've ever talked to. Nice guys, hands down.

I bought a double roller chain set from CM. It didnt ship as quickly as promised and I had to call a couple of times for updates on the shipping. Supposedly they were waiting to get a shipment which was in route from the mfg, so the delays were understandable. (I'm a buyer buy trade and know that sometimes the manufacturing plants dont give a flyn *@&*&# about the end users schedule )

I would not hesitate to do business with CM again. They were courtious and helpful when I spoke to them. I was very happy with the chain set, and it was at a damn good price.

I ordered a cam from them and when i got it it was the wrong one. It was not their fault, it was comp cam who made the mistake. They got one sent out that day and sent me a ups shipping label to send the other one back. Great customer service. I will buy from them again.
