99ss shifter

I was wondering if all the 99SS had Hurst shifters. I figure anything is better than my 94 stock shifter, but I am curious. Thanks.

I presume they did because I have a 2000 and it has a Hurst shifter. However, this was an option... a rather expensive option too.

If you can get one for a very good price then get it but I've driven the LT1 stock, LT1 Hurst SS option, LS1 Hurst SS option, and aftermarket Hurst. The factory Hurst option is damn near identical to the base factory shifter IMO. If you want something a bit different you can really notice then I think you should get something like a Pro 5.0, an aftermarket Hurts, or a Ripper. Those feel way different than stock... unlike the factory Hurst option on the SSs.
