98 model with LT1 engine

i have a man trying to sell me a 98 model camaro with an lt1 is that possible i cnt tell if the guy is lying or just doesn't know wat hes talking bout

Not possible...from the factory. The last LT1 went into the 97 model.

I can't help you on the lying V being a nitwit....

It should have the LS1. Have you looked at it to see what engine is in it?

If its a 98 it has an ls1. If it has the LT1 someone swapped it being dumb, or its not a 98.
