97 Camaro to OBD1

I have an engine with double roller timing chain, which did away with the crank sensor gear. I have an 95 pcm with LT1 edit cable and software. What all needs to be done to make this work?

Re: 97 Camaro to OBD1

Nothing, with regard to the crank (CKP) sensor. It was added in 96/97 for OBD-II misfire detection. It has no relevance at all to the way the engine runs. 93-95 do not have the CKP sensor.

You will need a knock sensor from the 93-95 cars (4,000 ohm). Your 97 has a 100,000 ohm knock sensor. You can also keep the 97 KS and have a resistor added to the 95 PCM.
